moving...

i got evicted.

yup, i wrote that. i fucking got evicted. the whole complex is being torn down for student housing. it makes me want to scream. and cry(which i have done almost everyday). the thought of moving after 12 years is so overwhelming and crazy. i am sitting on my couch for the last night here. and of course, tears are streaming down my face. the new apartment is much smaller. and a basement apartment. i keep thinking of all the "last" things... my last shower, the last time the train blows by, the last night sleeping in the same room for 12 years.

and you know what is super stupid? i travel for a living. for 15 years. new places all the time. but do i want to actually move my household? hell no. i can also pack a 53' truck without batting an eyelash, but packing a box of my stuff? i am incapable. i had to have someone come over to pack my kitchen, because i didn't know how. so i am a crying mess, and incapable of packing. holy jeebus.

i would like a full day to myself. that's all i have in this moment to write about. i have to get ready for work again. this week is like 8 shows in 4 days.

snow

remember when i asked for snow?
i am over it now.
and just found out we're coming back to toronto in june.
and it's snowing again. this wussy, spitting, poopy, snow. it's annoying.
and it might be colder at home, then here. poor mommy and brett and rach, and the wee ones.
right now it looks like a snow globe out. a dollar store snow globe.
shoot, i have to pack.

i would be so much better at blogging if i could remember my password for longer than a week. i mean i knew the memory slipped as you aged, but damn. i have to get password assistance which involves 2 emails, and then i feel so stupid. but i finally wrote it down in the hopes i would get better at it...

week of c-mas

so it's my day off, and what time did i wake up? 6:20-ish? awesome. and did the hotel turn off the water for 8 hours? yes they did. no h20 until 5 pm tonight. did i already take a bath ? yes. haha hotel, take that. and where is our snow in toronto? it keeps spitting, but no full on snow. i think if it's cold, it should snow. i am just sayin'. i found the today show, which is quite exciting in the canada. and maybe i should conquer the mall when it opens, so i can shop unmolested.

oh, and by the way canada, let's work on that' "excuse me", while we're at it. not soorrey, but excuse me. annoying. but i like your funny money...
