i read back over some earlier blogs, and though i am funny, i write the same stuff. maybe if i could retain any type of memories for longer than a day, this wouldn't happen. i haven't written on much of the culture here, so i think i will fill you in, my faithful readers. like the 4 of you who read this...
anyway,
in korea it is a custom to give a little bow, when meeting someone of saying hello. and there are different ways to say hello according to who is older. i am not aloud to say "hi" to an elder. it is a more formal greeting, but that person can say hi to me because i am younger. and so far the only thing i know how to say in korean is thank you. which i say wrong and they all laugh. i could even do stand up over here folks.
most of the toliets are heated. yup, heated. with a bidet like contraption attached. i won't use that part of the toliet. it's weird. if i want to wash that area i will take a shower. enough for that subject.
people make eye contact, and smile and are so nice. korea is very western. they love americans. i have found the GAP. of course they don't carry any jeans above a size 8. which i don't fit in to. one size bigger and i would be golden, but no all the women over here are tiny. and beautiful. korean people are so lovely to look at. the babies are super cute. the women are stunning, and the men, well they are men, not tiny chinese peanuts.
i like korea a lot. i just want it to be a little cheaper. like china cheap. nothing is like china cheap.
i have to run, but i will try to do better...
